Fantastic selection if Moselwine, but the mailing service does not work. Out of four orders, three deliveries did not contain all the bottles ordered. That is frankly speaking way too much

I highly recommend. Great food, excellent desserts and a nice, discreet interior as a setting. There is one waiter who raised the level of dinner a few steps higher by choosing wines for us. It started with a good one, then it only got better. Reservations must be made on weekends

I was excited when I saw the amazing Biergärten. The atmosphere seemed great & the menu made me hungry. Once we were provided a menu, it had pages falling out of it and appeared dirty. The service was likely the most horrible serve I’ve experienced. Our drinks arrived about 15-20 minutes after we ordered them, and the second round took over 40 minutes! I asked twice about our drinks & was only brushed off. Once they finally arrived, one drink was missing. The food was average, and unimpressive. They do have a large availability of wine, but don’t expect to be able to get someone to assist you with a purchase. Maybe this was due to a busy night. I won’t be back.

The concept and the wine selection are really great! The food was okay to good. However, the service is a disaster: inattentive and slow. We had the first bottle of wine after an hour. When it was empty, it took a good 30 minutes for a waitress to even come to us to take further orders. A shame - the restaurant can do more!

Nice outside area, good wine selection. Cheese platter good, fish platter very good: sometimes with fried potatoes and a light egg salad!

A very nice wine house with a large selection of regional and national wines. The selection of dishes also sounded very appealing. We had the tagliatelle with prawns and a selection of cheeses and were very happy with it. The service is also very nice. The 4 stars only come because of the somewhat too small selection of lovely white wines for us, but in the end that is only our perception and does not have to apply to everyone. One can warmly recommend the wine house ...

Nice choice of vine. Lovely terrace. Tapas 6-piece plate too expensive for it’s contents, but quite tasty. Bred was average, really in the menu it is described as amazing freshly baked bread, in reality it was simple bread as from supermarket, thin sliced. Mushroom ravioli were bitter, rucola was cut in huge pieces (wasn’t cut at all?) making it extremely uneasy to consume. Stuff nice and friendly!

Had a very nice steak with mushrooms and some viez. The house dessert was especially good.

Great terrace at the rear building. Just the thing for summer. Good lunch menu that changes weekly - from 11:30 to 14:00. The schnitzel variations are a recommendation. Huge wine selection, everyone will find the right one. Friendly service, fast service. We like to come back again and again.

Incredible! The food was delicious, my steak cooked to perfection and the portion size just right. We asked for some wine recommendations and the wines that were suggested to us were spot on. The staff were very friendly and managed to find a table for us even though we hadn't reserved.

Modern establishment which successfully manages to combine modernity with character. The choice of wine is enormous, available by the glass and reasonably priced. The food is good, tasty. The menu is traditional German, but untraditionally German - the portions are small. There is a paucity of vegetarian options. The waiting staff could be more attentive.

We came over for lunch. No problem getting a table. In the traditional interior ambience (with cobblestones), or on the two outdoor terraces. Smart, really nice service, delicious food (special requests no problem) and unbelievably good wine. We recommend the 2015er Schiefer-Riesling and one of the Rose'-wines, which has been stored for 2 years in an oak barrel. Overall, highly recommended.

Many wines on glass which was good for us who were only two persons. The meny could be more innovative.

Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Good food at decent prices. Our luck, it was asperges season. A large selection of wines from a number of local vinyards. Wines are served at your table at only Euro 7.50 over the vineyard price. You can also buy wines, at the vineyard prices, to take, as we did with the Cremant Extra Brut we fell in love with. It is chardonnay-based and really their the local champagne. Across the street is the Karl Marx house, a site worth a visit.

:( Terrible staff. Food was delicious. We were in a party of 3 and all finished the whole meals. Service was horrendous though, hence only 3 stars. Rude waitress came over to take our order, left half way through order as she needed to go to the kitchen. When she came back, still rude and no apology. Service was slow and the staff weren't attentive or helpful. Excellent food but the staff are a real shame.

Lovely wine and a wide variety of meals to complement them

This is my favourite start of any wine trip to the mosel region. With such an array of wines, picking your bottle can be agonizing. The aged ausleses - some at very affordable prices - are a real treat. Food is classic german fare, hearthy and straitforward. Don't miss the red wine display tucked away left of the counter.
